Marissa’s 18th Birthday

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating Marissa’s 18th Birthday. This was no ordinary party. This was elaborate and organized!

There were more guests than many weddings I shoot. Friends and family came out in droves!

Portrait Sessions. Marissa looked beautiful. This is one of her many outfit changes for the evening.

There was singing!

There was cake!

There were speeches and roses.

There was dancing!

…and more dancing. Tango!

More singing. Lovely.

Motown Mamas!! Didn’t see that one coming.

More incredible dancing with amazing choreography. Dance Force, Chula Vista High School’s Competitive Dance Group. To check out more of their performance, click here. Awesome!

What an amazing party. So much talent and energy in one room. I trust Marissa had a great time. I know I did!

Dad - WOW!! Definitely an experience to remember! Now if you get to do her wedding.........April 9, 2012 - 9:25 am

Treves & Ioanna ~ Married ~ ZLAC Rowing Club, San Diego

Sometimes when you first meet someone, you get an instant sense about that person.  Your initial impression tells you so much that you feel you know that person.  That was the case when I was introduced to Ioanna through a mutual friend.  I could tell right away that she was an amazing person full of life and energy.  As she told me a bit about herself, her fiance, and their wedding plans, I could tell that this was a party that I needed to be a part of…and so it came to be.

It was a beautiful day at the ZLAC Rowing Club, located on Mission Bay in San Diego.  The Bride and Groom looked amazing.  The food was incredible.  The day could not have been more perfect, or more fun!  Here is a glimpse.

Pat Carpenter - You captured their passion for each other and combined it with your passion to create beautiful images!! Quite spectacular!!February 21, 2011 - 8:18 pm

Ed Ellefsen - If only more people Knew how well you capture the moment and the essences of your subjects, you could make a living from your artistic talents.February 23, 2011 - 10:43 am
